KH Roberts custom-built this SGD18 million and state-of-the-art integrated flavours manufacturing facility in Singapore.

To cater to their unique research, development, and production business process. A 3-storey administrative building fronts the development and contains the corporate offices, canteen space, and various laboratories and testing facilities.

The large-span rear block houses the loading and unloading docks for incoming and outgoing goods, cold room, ambient warehouse storage, flammable materials store, a series of large mixing chambers and packaging areas all within hygiene controlled environments with differential air pressures to segregate the aromas.

​

The structural concept for the building consists of conventional RC columns and walls and conventional RC beams and slabs. For the foundation system, the precast RC pile was selected based on the soil profiles and balance safety and cost considerations.
