Precise Tree is a single-user 11-storey industrial development with an ancillary office and ancillary canteen built-to-suit specifically for the operational requirements of Precise Development Pte Ltd, a construction’s main contractor. The total development cost is SGD13 million.

The floors vary from 3.15m at the car park levels to 6.475m at the production and office levels. The typical column grid adopted is 11.4m.

The structural concept for the building is deploying post-tensioned flat slabs with RC columns and walls as its vertical elements to optimise the design. Each production floor has a typical imposed load of 10kPa, while 5kPa had been adopted for other ancillary purposes. Jack-in RC square piles were adopted based on the soil profiles and to balance safety and cost considerations.

Structural System: PT flat slabs, RC columns, walls, beams

Foundation System: Jack-in RC piles
